LinkSensor semantically analyzes blog posts on-the-fly and highlights key concepts in the text. When the user's mouse is over a highlighted word, a small balloon shows up suggesting other relevant articles, and a matching ad from Google AdSense. The user is likely to see a value add in viewing advertising that is relevant to the content.

Key terms which LinkSensor extracts from the page allow the advertiser to select an ad which is relevant to the content of the page. Contextually-relevant ad is likely to attract the user's attention, maximizing advertiser's revenue. LinkSensor add-on is based on Content Targeting API that identifies best-matching ad categories from a page on-the-fly.

After the installation, navigate to your blog page and select "LinkSensor" in the browser "Tools" menu or from the mouse right-click menu.

For example, rather than losing a visitor after he reads through your post, you have a chance to navigate him to your other venue - perhaps with a higher eCPM. To see this in the Firefox extension, navigate to a blog and choose "LinkSensor Tabs" in the browser "Tools" menu or from the mouse right-click menu. The first tab in the balloon is populated by related posts from the blog you are viewing, and the second tab with Yahoo search results. All tabs can be customized to point to your content!
